Seventh grade volleyball??
I'm in 7th grade (middle school) and I will try out for the volleyball team. I'm 5'2 and 96 pounds approx. I'm in good shape and I have muscles well (I am an ex-gymnast). It's just that I have played volleyball before and do not have a set of skills. I played well during summer. I wonder what you've done in aptitude tests (skills, conditioning, exc.). Please help! Any personal experience that helps! Thanks! Oh, and if you could tell me some other way to practice during the summer? The exercises I can do? I have a volleyball court at home, but without a net. Thanks! By the way, I'm pretty high and I have long arms and long legs.
that depends on their coach, but in my'm 20 and I've played since I'm in sixth year and is very repetitive haha – spend much of exercises. you have an "objective" rather clear and the practice of passing position. service the ball over the net, doping, etc, with you being a former gymnist compilation seems to be on the last row of step (sweeper), which is a very good position if you are good at that! just have fun in practice / Test and see what is best for you! im pretty big leap, but I can not so .. I am a songwriter and back row i play just to feel comfortable with it and from there:)
